TERMS & CONDITIONS
We kindly ask that you read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as they form the basis of your agreement with Beyond Hair – Justine Maggio.
1. Payments
We accept payment via cash and EFT (Electronic Fund Transfers).
Please note credit or debit cards are not accepted.
EFT payments are to be made at least three (3) days prior to your booking.
Cash payments are accepted on the day of service.
Late payments may result in the issuance of a late payment notice. Failure to settle overdue amounts may result in further action.
2. Booking Fee & Deposits
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your booking date. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
All deposits and payments are non-negotiable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Deposits must be paid within three (3) days of receiving your quotation.
Bridal Bookings require a deposit of $300.00
Event Hairstyling require a deposit of $100.00
3. Cancellations
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to accommodate changes where possible. However, the following policies apply:
Bookings cancelled or altered within ten (10) months, where rescheduling is not possible, may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
Deposits cannot be transferred to future or alternative bookings.
Clients who are absent upon arrival without prior notice will forfeit their deposit or may be charged a $100 cancellation fee.
Clients who cancel more than three (3) times within a 12-month period may be declined future services.
If Beyond Hair – Justine Maggio must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result.
4. Changes to the Booking
We strive to accommodate changes where possible; however, we cannot guarantee availability.
Changes to date, location, time, or group size may not be possible once your booking is confirmed. Please notify us as soon as possible of any required changes.
Reductions in guest numbers made within 30 days of the booking date will still be charged in full as per the original quotation.
Any additions to services or attendees on the day will incur additional charges.
Changes affecting a second hairstylist will still require payment of their full fee.
Relocation of the service may result in additional travel, accommodation, or time-based charges.
5. Travel Fees
Travel fees apply to all bookings and are determined based on distance from our base from the Macarthur Region (South-Western Sydney).
Within 1.5 hours: $50 – $250
Within 2.5 hours: $250 – $450
Over 3 hours: $500 and above
Parking must be arranged at your venue (e.g., hotel parking) or within 200 metres walking distance to accommodate large and heavy equipment.
For long-distance or destination weddings:
Travel over 2.5 hours requires accommodation.
Travel over 3 hours requires a minimum flat rate of $1,200.
Interstate bookings require a minimum of two (2) nights’ accommodation.
Overseas bookings require a minimum of four (4) nights’ accommodation.
6. Additional Fees
Certain services and circumstances may incur additional fees, including but not limited to:
Services exclusively for the bride only start from $650.00 (excluding travel and any additional charges).
Assistant/Second Hairstylist Fee: Starting from $350, plus applicable travel fees.
Hair Extensions: We do not provide hair extensions; you may bring your own.
A $15 surcharge per person will apply for styling extensions.Public Holiday or Out-of-Hours Surcharge: A 20% surcharge applies.
Please note we do not offer evening appointments.Out-of-pocket expenses, such as accommodation, flights, luggage, meals, early start fees, or additional styling materials, may also apply and will be included in your quotation.
7. Illness Policy
If you are unwell in the days leading up to your appointment, please notify us as early as possible. We are happy to reschedule your booking to another available date.
As we often work in close proximity to families, children, and elderly individuals, we request that all clients be mindful of health and hygiene. If you would like us to wear a mask or follow any specific health guidelines upon arrival, please let us know and we will gladly comply.
8. Refunds & Redo Services
We do not issue refunds under any circumstances.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service provided, please inform us immediately so that we can address your concerns. Should you change your mind about a hairstyle after it has been completed, an additional fee will apply. Time constraints or bookings for other clients may also prevent adjustments.
9. Service Limitations
Due to limited equipment and safety protocols, we are unable to accommodate:
Male hair services
Children’s services, unless in addition to an adult/female booking
Elderly clients, depending on specific needs
Please contact us if you have specific requirements to confirm suitability.
10. Professional Recommendations
In order to maintain a high standard of professionalism and avoid accountability issues, we do not provide referrals or recommendations for other hairstylists or businesses. Beyond Hair – Justine Maggio is not responsible for the performance or reliability of any third-party service providers.
11. Social Media & Photography
Photographs taken by Beyond Hair – Justine Maggio may be published on our website and social media platforms. We may also repost photos from professional photographers with appropriate credit. If you do not wish for your photos to be published, please inform us in advance.
We value your feedback and encourage clients to leave reviews following their appointment. If you are happy to share your personal photos with us, we would be truly grateful.
